Beta Chapter at a Glance:

Beta Chapter was founded on April 30,1929 by Professor C.H. McClure from Alpha Chapter (A) at State Teachers College in Warrensburg, MO. Due to the Great Depression, Beta Chapter was deactivated in the 1930s.  Then on February 12, 1996 Beta Chapter was reactivated.

Since then, Beta has grown to be one of the strongest chapters in the nation, with about 60 active members.  Over the past few years, they have won several awards, through both the National organization and Truman State University.
